DAPU - Dande Anti Poaching Unit

Our Mission

To rehabilitate & re-energize the communal anti poaching effort.

DAPU set about re-energising the game scouts:
	Retrained them through a recognised anti-poaching course.
	Began to share the burden of monthly scout wage payments that council and communities were unable to honour.
	Supplied monthly rations.
	Supplied 2 way radios.
	Supplied clothing, hats, safety boots, tents, torches, knives etc.
	Employed Bongi to spearhead the anti-poaching unit.
	Using a Safari Operator vehicle to do so.

DAPU has also taken on:
	Helping drop and pick up the National Parks patrols.
	Supplying the National Parks rangers with rations for patrols.
	Incentives for successful patrols, carried out by National Parks or community scouts.
	Repairing the National Park vehicle and keeping it on the road.
	Donating diesel monthly to keep the National Parks vehicle running.
